Why is Data Pavilion Ltd’s website a subdomain of SpEDATAS?

Data Pavilion Ltd’s website, dpltd.spedatas.com, is currently hosted as a subdomain of SpEDATAS (spedatas.com). The website was developed by Spaweb, the web development and management unit of SpEDATAS.

This arrangement allows Data Pavilion Ltd to maintain its own dedicated web presence while benefiting from the existing SpEDATAS domain infrastructure, technical support, website management, and security administration.

With time, we will also add datapavilion.com.ng as the dedicated domain for Data Pavilion Ltd. This will provide Data Pavilion Ltd with an independent domain while maintaining its existing connection with SpEDATAS.


Do I need to make a deposit before you start recovering data from my storage device?

Because we are currently unable to confirm the health status of your storage device, a deposit of ₦6,000.00 (Six thousand naira) is required for our laboratory diagnostic service. The results will be shared with you after the assessment to determine the best approach for the recovery process.

If the diagnostics confirm that your storage device is in good condition and will not hinder the recovery process, the ₦6,000.00 deposit will be credited toward your final payment.


Can you help prevent future data loss?

Yes. Besides recovering lost data, we help clients implement reliable backup strategies, storage health monitoring, cloud backup solutions, and disaster recovery plans to minimise future risks.


What should I do if my hard drive has failed?

Stop using the drive and power it off immediately. Running the device or DIY system of handling can permanently destroy your data. Disconnect the drive safely and contact Data Pavilion Ltd for storage device diagnostic laboratory evaluation.


I just formatted my storage device, can I recover the previous files?

In many cases, yes, you can recover your files—but it depends heavily on how the device was formatted and if it has been used since. If you did a standard quick format on a regular hard drive or SD card, your files are likely still there. However, if you’ve saved new files over the old ones, or if you formatted a modern SSD, the older data may be permanently gone. However, let’s see your device.


Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. We treat every client’s data with the highest level of confidentiality and security throughout the service process.


After the transaction, how long will you keep my storage device in your custody?

If the recovery is successful, we can hold your storage device for 1 to 14 days. However, an additional storage fee of 10% of the original cost may apply.

If the recovery is unsuccessful, we will only keep your device for 7 days, after which it will be disposed of.

Is it possible to recover app data and settings?

What can be recovered?

If the HDD or SSD is readable, data recovery software can recover:

What usually cannot be recovered as a working app?

Recovering an application does not usually restore it to a usable installed state because applications depend on:
